Clean MD initially was introduced to the 11 Day Power Play by one of our very own Mike Surdyk, Director of Corporate Operations at Clean MD. When Mike came to our team with the idea to sponsor this event, we all were excited for this great opportunity to give back.

Not only are we lovers of Hockey here at Clean MD, but we are built on the mentality of doing our part not just in the workplace but in the community.

Mike has been a player in this event since 2018. We left the playing up to Mike while the rest of us volunteered to clean at the event.

Since we started our participation in 2020, it was important more than ever during a pandemic, to keep players, staff, and volunteers safe while also providing the community with a positive event to take place during social distancing times.

Clean MD provided a customized cleaning outline and training for volunteers to be able to clean in between games while head counts had to be maintained in compliance with NYS guidelines.

Clean MD dedicated every morning and night of the event to perform a full disinfecting clean along with our electrostatic spraying technology.

Clean MD looks forward to giving back every year with the 11 Day Power Play event and helping to continue to put Cancer on Ice.
